Tens of millions of candidates start their job hunt on LinkedIn because it’s a great place to learn about organizations and the people who work at them. By posting a role to LinkedIn directly from WhoCo, candidates clicking Apply on LinkedIn will go straight to your published role and their submitted application will appear in WhoCo.
When you post a role to LinkedIn from WhoCo, the post is created using the role information you’ve entered into WhoCo. Our partnership with LinkedIn means we can do this on your behalf as long as we have your LinkedIn company ID.
Here’s the information we send to Linkedin.
Your company name
Location (whether it is remote or not)
Job type (full-time, part-time, or conract)
Salary (if you’ve listed it)
Note roles you publish to LinkedIn from WhoCo are accessible only by search or going to your company’s LinkedIn page and clicking the “Jobs” tab.
Remember that if you want to make changes to the job posting, you’ll need to edit the role in WhoCo. Those changes will update in LinkedIn every ~6 hours. The same applies if you want to close the role. You’ll need to do so in WhoCo, which will remove the posting in LinkedIn. If you remove the role in LinkedIn but not in WhoCo, it will get republished on LinkedIn within six hours.
Do not use the post to LinkedIn feature in WhoCo if you want it promoted on LinkedIn. You can however, follow the instructions for claiming a job and then promoting it (https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/128249/claim-jobs-on-linkedin?lang=en). Be sure to enter your WhoCo published role URL as the “External website.”
As always, if you have any questions - reach out to the WhoCo team and we’ll be happy to help.
